We didn’t go anywhere for Spring Break. Instead, for two weeks, my kids laid around and read books. They went to Hogwarts, Arrakis, Dandelion Cottage, Regency England, and Green Gables (I went to a post World War One English country manor house). In books you can go anywhere, everywhere, and nowhere—all at once. I’d say it’s a fair trade.
Travelling through reading is one of the best ways (our family is currently in Ancient Egypt via the book, The Golden Goblet lol.)
